Chop Chop

Lately I have been feeling kind of flat. I've been letting my weight creep up, I've been tying my hair back in a ponytail most days and just haven't felt like I have my usual sparkle about me.

I've been battling a few health problems lately (some mental, others physical) and it's really been getting me down.

But yesterday (after a serious lecture from Sean about me needing to be more of a fighter) I decided enough was enough.

I took the first steps towards getting my groove back by getting an impromptu haircut.

I forgot to get a before shot, but here is my after. It has definitely gone along way towards making me feel better :).

PS. I'll be back later on with another tile update.

  1. Bangs look great on you!

A haircut is a great first step in trying to get the pieces back together when you just aren't feeling the greatest. I've got a hair appointment tonight and I hope it does the same for me.

  2. hey tamsyn. i have had many of these moments. a visit to the hairdressers always makes you feel better. your cut looks great! we all need to soak up some me time more often.

  3. Loving the new fringe.

I'm off to the hairdressers for a change this afternoon!

  4. Gorgoeous hair! Don't be to hard on yourself. We all have times that it all seems just too hard. Good for you taking a step in a direction towards better times by doing something to make you feel better about yourself. Here's to better days ahead! xx

  5. Love getting my haircut! Yours looks fab. Hope you feel a bit better now..

  6. Natasha - I hope you feel great after your haircut too xx

  7. Yeah! Happy, happy, hair!
I can barely dress myself, I'm too impatient for manicures and facials, but, I love to get my hair cut.
