Erin's Baby Shower

I mentioned yesterday that I am planning a baby shower for my BFF (Erin). I am beyond excited!!

We've decided to go with a fun yellow, grey and white colour scheme. I'm aiming for it to be a 'grown-up' baby shower. Less games, more good food and company. Fingers crossed :)

Before I got sick Sean helped me create the invites in Fireworks, and I finally sent them out yesterday (with three short weeks to spare!).

I've started an inspiration board on pinterest (here) and I have so many fun ideas swirling around in my head! I did pick up some paper mache letters, twine and felting wool at spotlight today. So hopefully I will have a baby shower related DIY for you tomorrow.

In the meantime here's some of the images that are inspiring me (all can be found on my pinterest board). Enjoy!!

If you have any ideas, or images that you think will help inspire me, please share!

  4. I had a yellow and blue baby shower, and we made yellow paper pom poms that looked super cute. We made them out of tissue paper, so they were really cheap!

  5. oh how fun!!! i'm sure it will look beautiful! i'm going to a baby shower next week and i am SO excited to give my present to the new mom. i made burp rags (she's super stylish so i wanted to make her really cute burp rags). i'm going to roll them up like cupcakes and put them in a muffin tin painted white (if i can find one...i'm having problems with that!) or a bakery box. we'll be posting pictures next week with the final results...you'll have to check it out.
